In today's unstable economy, where prices for everything from gas to housing to groceries to vehicles and  heating oil and utilities etc etc etc, raising the amount one can make before being penalized if they choose to retire at 62 years of age or just eliminating the penalty would help alleviate the burdens of what our senior citizens endure. There are plenty of jobs available that need to be filled. It would be a win -  win situation not just for the seniors, but also for employers looking to fill their workforce. If this happens I can live with some comfort of not looking where my next meal comes from or where I may find permanent residency. If this doesn't happen in my case and millions of others it will lead to homelessness and starving seniors.
