Lower the 120 payments Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)

Lower the 120 payments Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
Due to student loans countless of borrowers are not qualified to buy a car, home, and are forced to pay more in rental than they would pay if purchased a home. Every year rent is increasing by more those borrowers can afford. As college graduate they were told receiving a college degree would have put them in a better position in life. They would be offered a different category of employment. After graduation even at masters level, those graduates are still earning minimum wage same or even less than a person who never pursued a higher education. As an educator, police officer, social worker to name a few in the public service cannot afford a decent home due to minimum yearly income. They often find themselves living paycheck to paycheck, struggling financially, and are obligated by moral compass to pay their student loans. In addition, those student loans are earning high interest during years of repayment. Some public service borrowers are not qualified for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) due to the 120 payments required to have their loans forgiving. It is called "Public Service" loan forgiveness most of the time these jobs are in the path of danger or teachers every year are spending their own money to assist their students while paying their student loans. We are asking to lower the 120 payments to a maximum of 60 payments and please do not add qualifying payments to make it repayment difficult. We are not even asking to lower the 10 years employment with a qualified employer, but asking to eliminate the 120 payments altogether or to a maximum of 60 payments. President Biden and Department of Education director Miguel Cardona you can do it! In fact, it would benefit the economic situation since that would open opportunities for countless of home buyers. That could boost up the economy. President you said "Help was on the way". Public service folks are still waiting!
