The ballot papers for zambias elections were printed in dubai in the presence of political party representatives .When the papers were ready they were sent on emirates airlines to lusaka , zambia.
Unfortunately undesignated materials were found when the cargo landed at Lusaka international airport without proper declaration or knowledge of ELECTORAL COMMISSION OF ZAMBIA,AS WELL AS OTHER PROCESS OBSERVERS INCLUDING POLITICAL PARTY REPRESENTATIVES.
It will be in the best interest of zambias elections that the consignment that ended up with the ballot papers be disposed off publicly inorder to remove any suspicions of election rigging .
Zambias elections are to be held on 12th august 2021 .
