East Hartford Public Schools should be closed to avoid transmission of Covid-19. This district treats covid as a joke and has released a statement today saying they are no longer going to notify staff and students they were in contact with covid. They are Demanding testing when tests aren’t available for mild symptoms or if unvaccinated. It is a dangerous place to be. District wide there were over 100 covid cases in December 2021. Keep in mind, students were only in the building for half the month as there was winter break intercepting the month. The district doesn’t care about your students, they care about the numbers and the recognition of staying open.
