Spread the word for this old outdated system for only 2 up and 2 down between EFL League 2 and the Vanarama National League to be changed to 3 promotion places and 3 relegation places, with top 2 going up and 3rd to 8th positioned teams contesting the play offs to maintain the current exciting play off system in the NL.

The quality of the National League now can’t be denied with huge clubs with rich histories competing in the division with big budgets and support. Also other ambitious clubs who are vying for their first promotion to the EFL for example Sutton and Harrogate have been 2 excellent additions to the league and this current system is a big roadblock to more of these teams progressing through our amazing English football pyramid.

In addition to this in previous seasons in the National League the likes of Wrexham and Tranmere have finished on 98 and 95 respectively that amount of points not being rewarded is criminal.

of course EFL clubs will think of self preservation here but for the good of game imo we should have 3 up 3 down

so sign this petition to create awareness and to spread the word to the EFL and the 92 to seriously consider changing this system
