A sidewalk connecting the east entrance of the LIRR to Nassau Road

There is no sidewalk on the side of 39th Road that runs parallel to the Little Neck Long Island Railroad Station. This is particularly dangerous where Nassau Road curves and connects with 39th Road. When commuters exit trains near 39th Road and Nassau Road, they are forced to walk in the road on the curve or cross the street at the curve. There are often cars waiting to pick up commuters, which narrows the road and reduces visibility. At minimum we are requesting that the Metropolitan Transportation Authority install a sidewalk that connects the entrance on 39th Road to Nassau Road. There is ample space to create a sidewalk and a safer route home for commuters.
