GIVE MORE FUNDING TO OUR SCHOOLS -

The new way of funding schools via a national formula means some schools will lose money, our local school in Kent being one of them. (Anthony roper primary school). Many schools across Kent and nationwide have been asked to donate monthly to help fund schools or have schools hours cut. We must stand against this!

Our children are the future, when i decided to become a mother, i made a promise that i would do my best to do right by them. This includes helping them get the best education they can so that they can have the best possible chance in life. We are being madly underfunded in many aspects of our lives. The government is persevering with the plan of austerity to save the country's finances. Theresa May can find billions of pounds to save her job to pay the DUP to ensure a majority in parliament, but cannot sort the correct funding for our education system, so that the children get the start in life they deserve. Childhood is a difficult time, children need a lot of support to help maximise their potential. Expecting parents to pay twice for the education their Children receive is an unbelievable dereliction of duty from a prime minister who has desperately lost her way. She has forgotten the core of what the people want and expect from a government. Our children only have one go at their education. Join us in saving our children’s eduction. Our school is asking for parents to donate £10.00 per month to increase funds, failing this the school is proposing to cut music, arts and sports or reduce school hours in order to cut costs and make up the short fall of money. Sign this petition for our voice to be heard, something has to change. Let’s reach out to the education minister Damian Hind and insists he does something to improve this situation. I’m just a mother/parent like many others who cares, please show your support.
