This year due to the coronavirus exams in may/June have been cancelled and instead students are getting predicted grades. As a current year 12 student, I am potentially not going to be able to go to school for the rest of the year. This meaning I will have missed out on countless lessons and quality learning time, only having lessons online and teaching myself my hard a levels. Personally I find this extremely unfair and almost feel I’m in a worse position than current year 11s and year 13s who have probably finished learning their courses and from now on was just revision. Therefore meaning that we too should be entitled to not being put under the pressure of sitting big exams when we are missing more school due to this deathly virus. These predicted grades are being made with both mock exams and progress throughout the year , and for us not being at school for a long time it seems only fair to also be awarded correct predictions in order to get the qualifications we need to go onto further studies or apprenticeships etc. So please sign this petition to help students who are missing potentially months of education to get their predicted grades, Thankyou!
