We would like to increase education for young people on sexual harassment, so that they can feel safer in a community. We need to create an environment where young people are comfortable with reporting these experiences and potential offenders understand the perennial effect this has on a victim. This education must particularly be for boys, as they are disproportionately the culprits for these acts. A staggering 25% of girls are sexually harassed before the age of 18, and an estimated 81% of students are sexually harassed in school. On the other hand, it is imperative that girls learn how to go about reporting and identifying sexual harassment.
