History taught to us in school has always been about The Mughal Empire, The British Invasion and events that follow, The Romans and the Greeks and The Industrial Revolution. Well what children really need to learn at school is about Their Own Roots. This petition is started to change what schools in India teach history to be about. Love for the nation needs to be instilled in children by teaching them of the valor, bravery, greatness and struggle of THEIR OWN COUNTRYMEN and not that of the invaders. The Mughals, the British, The Portuguese, The Romans etc were merely invaders. Indian children need to learn about the kings and the queens and all those that were born and rose to greatness by and on this golden land. They need to learn  to value and protect this land of such a rich heritage. Current history curriculum instills nothing but disrespect and hate about their own nation and society in children as they grow up thus fantasizing western ideologies and personalities when there itself have been marvels of ancient science and technology, architecture, culture, medicine and superior humans that once thrived on the land of India. The real ancient history of India has been presented to us as a MYTH and as stories. All this greatness hasn't simply been masked for the sake of it right?!
