Are you paying Rs.10,000+ for books & uniforms for pre-primary kids? Recently Orchid International increased the amount by Rs.5,000 to 6000 for books and uniforms. Compulsory to buy from them. For Pre-Primary Cost is Rs.19,600. Grade 1 Rs.22,000+. Now calculate on an average for all the 30K + students of the school across India.. A whopping 16Cr+ just an increase in books & uniforms. I as a parent feel cheated, looted.. daylight robbery. 

I am sure this is the case with all private schools. My simple question to Indian Govt. Why there is no standard in cost of books and uniforms, art kit(if one sees the stuff they give not even worth Rs.200) There should be a common range across India. What future we are talking about if the basic education is in the hands of robbers and Govt of the day is mere puppet dancing to their tunes just for election funds.. loot the parents give us commissions. 

Everyone is for profits. We are not denying this but at least don't loot the parents like this. If CBSE board why NCERT books are not followed? In the name of latest methods they loot us. DAV school follows NCERT grade 1 onwards. 99% Pvt schools have their own books .. excuse to loot parents. Please help us in getting the message across so that the Govt can mandate all schools to stop blackmailing parents into paying exorbitant amounts for books and uniforms. There has to be MRP for this. This should be for all states.
