Our children bring the future, and for them to grow up without access to correct information on mental health is absurd. First aid, sex ed, religion are just a few of the things they are entitled to know, and mental health should be amoungst that. Denying our children support from a young age is outrageous. By introducing basic mental health education into the curriculum, we are setting up future generations to be more open minded and respectful to the very taboo subject, meaning more will fell comfortable to seek help and less isolated.
