We children are taught from childhood why we should live but we are never asked if we are happy when we grow up. Teenagers are facing a big problem with careers they choose because some are forced to do as they are told. We want to live our own lives as we choose to live. A request to our elders that guide us teach us but do not control us for about what we become. We humans have one life to live to do what we want and you are telling us to make money and do what we can't, Even if we tried our best suicides are happening more in teens because of we couldn't find the reason to live or couldn't make someone else satisfied. 

  We know education is important but if u ask any child why its important no one would be able to answer because we aren't getting education, we're getting trained. What's the actual purpose of education? To gain knowledge? Maybe that's what we all think at first but soon we're taught that we need to study to get good grades so that we can get a job. No body cares about knowledge. People should realise that there's a difference between well educated and well trained. Even in a circus lions perform tricks in fear of getting punished, its not well educated its called well trained. In schools if a child get good grades he/she becomes the favourite of every teacher no matter if he actually has the knowledge or not but the students who are not good at memorizing things but are actually intelligent become a bad one in teacher's eyes. They get punished if not getting good grades. Let me ask you all, we agree its our fault that we don't get good grades but is it that big of a fault that we'll get abused in the name of discipline? All the teachers use harsh words on students telling them that they don't have a future and they're wasting their parents money but they never try to get to know the problem the students are facing. Yes they say they care about us and want us to have a bright future. But let me ask all of you what is the "Bright future" they are talking about? They just want us to make money and carry on the responsibilities of life. They just want us to be robots. All they want is for us to get good grades score the first position and get a nice job with nice salary. Knowledge doesn't even matter to them. They are supposed to teach the students and make them fall in love with learning,make them want to learn more and explore their talents but instead they just train them and turn them into robots and if a child doesn't become one they punish us and use the excuse that they're doing it for our own good. They themselves have forgotten what they are living for. Knowledge isn't all about studying what's in the books. Its about everything. There are alot of things that should be taught to every child but the education system only focus on feeding whatever is in the books in the mind of students. In Today's time there are so many things a person should be aware of- Racism,bullying,mental health,asian hate, depression, academic problems are some sensitive topics that everyone should have knowledge about but in India these topics are not even known. Thes might not be related to one's academic performance but its required to have knowledge of these to survive in this world. People should realise that knowledge isn't just about getting degrees and making a living its about having knowledge of what's around us,its about us and people like us. Its the understanding of a situation. Its the awareness the everyone should have in order to live. But sadly our education system doesn't give us knowledge but train us to make money. And if we fail to do so they treat us like we're some criminals and some of us end up being suicidal. 

This education system doesn't focus on knowledge but on competition. This society has raised their children in such a way that they don't want to gain knowledge but just achieve that first position. And the education system is supposed to put an end to such mindset but it instead encourages it. The problem isn't that the students aren't learning but its that they're bounded by this system which to turn them into robots and makes them forget the purpose of their lives.
