Educate America, pardon John Brown, posthumously

You could start with a national education program on the history involved.  John Brown, who was tried and executed for seizing the US arsenal at Harpers Ferry, VA in 1859, became a hero to Union soldiers and the public alike.  His famous raid, though an act of civil disobedience, helped lead to the emancipation of millions of slaves. It would be fitting for our first African American President to use his pardon power to cleanse John Brown's reputation and recognize his contribution to the fight for enslaved Africans' freedom and civil liberty.  President Obama should posthumously pardon John Brown, now.
