With the vestige of the Petrojam scandal still lingering, it flies in the face of reason for Lionel Myrie who was embroiled in the Petrojam scandal to now be appointed interim head of the Tourism Product Development Company. 
The appointment speaks to a system of cronyism that our Prime Minister, Andrew Holness, swore to eliminate once elected.  And to have it blatantly done in this manner without much regard for the optics is deeply offensive to Jamaican nationals who work hard to be qualified and are often ignored by these associates who barely meet the qualifications or are unfit to hold these posts. 

This petition aims to highlight the disgust of the Jamaican people for a system of cronyism and nepotism that is rife within Jamaica and we will use every opportunity we have to trample such bad habits.
