Good day & Selamat Hari Raya to all Malaysian citizens,
After the 14 General Election, Malaysian are now entering a new government era of more democracy & transparency in laws for Malaysian citizen. Since this is still in an early transitional stage of governing & enforcing new laws and order from the new Harapan Government. I'm glad that the new government has taken steps towards a more transparency governing & following up with the 100 days pre election manifestos. So far mostly is all about how to saved money & reduced government spending etc.
But how about the changes of more democratic laws towards Malaysian citizens?
I hereby would like to post my comment on my concern for our private sector workers working long hours without sufficient rest days. Our previous BN government didn't look into this as being a big problem for the middle & lower income group of Malaysia citizens. Especially on many private sectors working 6 days per week. This forced working conditions has make Malaysian always lacking behind others more democratic developing country when comes to human rights issues. By slashing employees rights to rest a minimum 2 days per week has created alot of social problems such as feeling of inequality between poor & rich. Further worsening is the time management of one rest day has caused huge impact to families! Individuals has difficulty divided their one rest day on spending for leisure or self improvement? On time to spend with their family or their friends? All these stress of less time manageable also contributes to social health issues & less happy individuals!
On top of this most six days workers still earned not enough money to buy a house even plus overtime. Not to mention time spend to do exercise or looking for alternative skills! Hopefully our newly appointed PM & government ministers is taking my voice seriously. This is my voice to all Malaysian & our newly elected Pakatan Harapan Government.
