Ron Ross, the new superintendent this year is severely underqualified for the position he has been offered by the board of Edinburgh School Corporation. They passed over a better qualified candidate because he was older and because the board felt that the would not be able to easily manipulate him. Ross has revealed himself to be a single-minded "leader" with little care for the employees he is supposed to lead, instead championing for a referendum that is doomed to fail because of his constant bad-mouthing of the school system to people around him and even to the local paper... few would ever want to invest in a sinking ship as he has painted Edinburgh to be.

In addition, he has insulted numerous teachers to their faces including an essential skills teacher, saying that, "it takes a special kind of person to go to college to get a degree just to wipe butts." He cares little for the school and community despite the show has he put forth on social media, and he is the direct reason that several teachers and educators are leaving the corporation. 

Edinburgh deserves a leader who genuinely cares for the community, understands the students and the educators who have invested themselves in this community.
