Eden High school has recently been strictly enforcing dress code policies, Although that is understandable they have only been calling out the women student body and barely batting an eye to the male student body. After reviewing the current uniform policy, it is clear to see that every rule about the dress code is specifically targeted towards women. This is not okay, not only does it sexualize and control what teen women wear, its not fair. There is nothing about a males pants being to low or there shorts being to short, Its all targeting women. The dress code needs to change, There is no reason teen girls need to control what they wear from staff being uncomfortable. The dress code policy is also classist, Demanding clean clothes and no oversized or rips, Many people have to shop at thrift stores or receive hand me downs and have no other option. We are asking for this to be revised aswell.
