Eurovision is one of the biggest singing competitions in Europe. Canada does not have much opportunities for artists to become global sensations. We so far have "The Launch" as a current platform. With NO "X Factor", "Canada's Got Talent", "The Voice" and "Canadian Idol" in Canada, we needs ways to showcase Canadian artists. 

This is also a way to unite Anglophones and Francophones in Canada with the Eurovision Song Contest. If invited, a national selection would help promote music in the West, Ontario, Quebec, Atlantic and the Territories.
