Families today are finding it more difficult to eat dinner together, and when they come to the table, it's often the TV that's doing the talking. A recent survey conducted by Eckrich(R), a product of ConAgra Foods, found that 40 percent of American families eat dinner together only three or fewer times a week, with 10 percent never eating dinner together at all. However, 88 percent of families would like to increase the time spent with their family at the dinner table rather than time preparing the meal. We’ve found a way to make dinner fun again and keep your kids begging to sit down for a family dinner. We are building a company that creatively produces and packages conversation starter cards. The cards can be used by parents, grandparents, friend and even teachers to create fun, intriguing and memorable dialogue. Recent studies have shown that families who regularly eat together have better family relationships, eat healthier, have better grades, are emotionally stronger, have better mental health, less likely to try drugs, reduces stress, and save money. With all these great benefits who wouldn’t want to sit down every night as a family and eat together. In a recent Columbia University study, 71% of teenagers said they consider talking, catching up, and spending time with family members as the best part of family dinners. By signing this petition you are making a pledge to put down your devices, get out your cards, and spend more time with your families. Thank You.
