Our elementary children are required to wear masks in class while sitting down. It is hypocritical of us to require them to wear masks while sitting down while strangers can pile in to restaurants, bars, activity centres, etc. and are able to remove them. Masks are detrimental to our children’s psychological growth. Masks instil fear, teaching them they will become sick if they play with friends without one. Masks can make it harder for young people to learn to communicate and socialize, very difficult learning and for communication in class. Studies have been done where there have been well known dentrimental effects on brain development on masked children. It is time we stand up and fight for the Rights of our children! Our children are our future. It has been proven covid is less severe than the common flu on the youth. Our children are not at risk and studies have shown they are also not transmitters.
