A majority of my classes only had hybrid or online classes available that didn’t clash. It’s unfair for students (like me) to pay for a parking pass along with the online fees. In addition to this, Covid is still prevalent and some students may not feel comfortable exposing theirselves to these environments with the ongoing pandemic.

This is absurd! The institution fails to provide for the students, and the students are charged to compensate? Wrong move, EMU.

EMU this is outrageous! Us students and our parents have struggled even before the pandemic, so what made you think that charging us more for classes that aren’t even offered in-person was a good idea. This truly unfair to us and financially doesn't make sense.

I had to pay over $300 in summer 21 online fees for this same reason. I can barely afford these fees not covered by the EFOS scholarship and they just keep racking up. It is unfair to all students and disproportionately those with low income. Be better, EMU.

Almost all of the classes I need to take this semester had only one course section available, and 5/6 of those classes only offered online options. Why should I have to pay an extra fee for choosing the only option provided?

I may not be an official alumnus but this is still my school and the current students need this.

This is unfair. Does an online course really cost an extra $300 per student to run?
