When Peyton left his IEP meeting on August 22, he was under the understanding that he would be able to go to school with a modified schedule to accommodate his documented needs that are supported from letters from 3 doctors. He thought he would be riding on a bus with tinted windows and air conditioning to help keep him from being overstimulated. He was happy that he would not have to be dismissed earlier than everyone else any longer to wait for up to 10 minutes before he could leave to go home. He was very excited that he was to get a chance to visit Cherry Ridge Theraputic Learning Farm twice a week for 2 hours to explore vocational opportunities, work on reinforcing communication skills and independent mobility in a highly motivating environment. Now, the school won't even meet with him to explain why they changed their mind. Who thinks this is just wrong?
