Mrs.Cannell is a Chemistry Honors and AP teacher at Eastern Alamance High School in North Carolina. She has held State officer for three years. Along with being advisor of the year for the entire state of NC. She has been the Student Council Leader of our school since 2007 until recently. Within the past few weeks she was removed from her duties as the schools Student Council Leader. No reason or warning was given to the students or to those in the council. A sign was put on her door when Student Council was supposed to be held stating that she will no longer be in charge of it. Mrs.Cannell has the most school spirit out of the teachers at EAHS. She has always been up for the task at hand no matter how difficult it may be. Whether it is making the parade for our school homecoming or helping make the cheer team signs for games. She always is willing to help and never backs down from a challenge. Majority of those in the council joined knowing Mrs.Cannell was there leader. This petition is to put Mrs.Cannell back as leader of the EAHS Student Council. At this point in time there is not a leader of the Council nor meetings being held.
