Our ring road is falling apart. Its condition has gone from bad to disgraceful to downright dangerous. We have been told over and over that it will be resurfaced but it doesn't happen.

As far back as 2018 the local MP, Maria Caulfield, promised it would be be resurfaced along with other improvements but nothing happened. As a local resident and councillor I managed to convince the County Council to make repairs when it fell apart last year but that was only ever going to be a temporary measure.

It is impossible to understand what has held things up. As residents we are sick and tired of excuses. We demand action now to fix our ring road and implement the other measures that were promised back including traffic light resequencing to help with traffic flow.
