Zebra Crossings in Hook
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
The Members of Hook Parish Council strongly believe that Zebra crossings at the following locations would be beneficial to the village of Hook:
* Church Lane - at the end of Mad Dog Lane crossing over to the Daisychain Nursery. School children crossing - with the road outside the nursery congested with vehicles parking on the pavement/road, visibility is drastically reduced for pedestrians crossing.
* Goole/Hook Road - end of Garth Lane crossing over Goole Road. School children crossing - the road is on a double bend with visibility drastically reduced.
Both routes are used as a cut-through for vehicles travelling to and from Goole from the M62 and surrounding villages, with over 3,000 vehicles using the road per day. The safety of the children/parents walking to and from school, having to cross these roads, is a major concern for the Parish Council.
Please consider our request for zebra crossings at the above locations.
