NO HUMAN WASTE SLUDGE (BIOSOLIDS) IN CARBON COUNTY

Farms in Carbon County are planning to use Biosolids (HUMAN SEWAGE WASTE) as fertilizer for their fields. The smell needs no explanation! This waste is considered a pollutant and can have serious effects on the environment and people living nearby. The sludge is known to contain dangerous heavy metals, carcinogens, radioactive waste, neurotoxins, disease causing bacteria and antibiotic resistant pathogens. It is basically made up of any waste that gets poured down your drain and septic, which includes hospital waste, and industrial waste. This is a highly controversial issue that has landed itself in our backyards. Townships all over the country are desperately trying to stop the spread of this hazardous, concentrated human waste. Carbon County Residents, please sign petition to help stop the use of biosolids!
