craig hill started this petition to East lothian council/ land owner

For a very long number of years local and surrounding area, motorcross/dirt bike fanatics have been using a area of land called ormiston Bing. It is used by hundreds of people each year for recreational use. It it well known in the local village ormiston.

Majority of people from ormiston do not dissagree with these people having fun but with the dangers included reaching the Bing, using public pathways and old railway tracks to make way there. Majority of these people are pet owners, dog walkers etc.

What I'm looking to achieve.

A meeting with local council

Permission from east Lothian council/land owner.

A fully functional motocross track with set dates throughout the year for practice sessions. The track will be fully insured with relevant medical staff onsite.

We have a small group of friends that have been riding on motocross tracks for several years and know the ins and outs involved in the upkeep and running of a motocross track. Not only will the benefits of extra funds made available for the local community, but also take away these dangers that have been on going for many years. And save funds being used by police Scotland to scout the area and use for better things.

For example: every mx track charges £25+ per session per person, this can generate a lot of funding that can be used for the community.

Please sign/share this petition and get as many people as possible. If I can get a seat at the table and argue this case then it's a step in the right direction..

Regards
