As parents and stakeholders in the East Central Independent School District, we demand that Superintendent Roland Toscano and the Board of Trustees release the Draft Guardian Plan Policy, Timeline, Cost Analysis, Metrics, Criteria, and Scoring of the Guardian Volunteer, Metrics of the proposed Guardian Plan, before the school board decides to vote.
The cost analysis should include the district's expenses in regards to the Guardian Plan, to include but not limited to: compensation and stipend received by the guardian, shared expenses with the guardian, reimbursements, training, certifications, increased liability insurance and bonding of guardian volunteers.
