Alan Johnson is the superintendent at East Allegheny school district.

Recently East Allegheny has had multiple (at least 20) physical altercations in the jr/sr high school so far in the school year. These fights have caused injuries to students, teachers and other staff members. The problem with Mr. Johnson is that after every major altercation he sends a call to all parents of students and lies or sugarcoats what actually happened to make it not seem as bad of an issue. After the most recent major fight involving multiple students Mr. Johnson sent a phone call home lying about the fight. There is a video of the altercation showing it to occur in the main office of the building involving at least 7-8 students, the video also shows a staff member falling to the floor and remaining there unconscious for an extended time. It was also on the local news. In the phone call Alan Johnson sent to parents he stated that the fight was near the office and not directly in it, he also states that no staff members were injured which is proven false by the video. The next day Mr. Johnson was interviewed  (which also made the local news, link below) with a different story than in the phone call. In the interview he admits that a staff member had been injured from an altercation. At about 15:15 into the interview Mr. Johnson goes on to say that if needed he will “make it like the country was back in the 50s with poor kids and typically black kids out and the school reserved for others” Link to interview.
