It’s stupid and undemocratic, literally living the other side of a road block doubles the time and stress to do the school and nursery runs with both starting at close times. Add to that getting to work on time. You either need a nanny or a work from home.

I am an NHS community Occuational Therapist and I am now seeing half the patients I would normally see in a day because of the road blocks. It only adds increased stress to my working day and the patients suffer by not being seen in a timely manner

Acton K & K1
Benefits:
The LTN is supposed to benefit the residents of K & K1. I have not observed any noticeable decline in traffic. I have been here 30 years and do not believe it is a significant rat run.
Disadvantages:
This a major inconvenience for every car owning resident of K & K1. We have to travel further, our journeys take longer and we end up causing more pollution.
During rush hour we exacerbate the problem with the local bottle necks that we now have no choice but to use.
We all have to travel significantly further on each and every journey into and out of K & K1.
How does this reduce pollution?

The proposals will lead to much heavier traffic, particularly on previously quieter roads, worse pollution and severely damage local businesses.

I am a cyclist but I also need my plumber and electrician. These people cannot do their jobs other than by arriving by van. They now waste 20 minutes moving through Chiswick. They have told me that they might have to charge extra for trips to Chiswick. My own work takes me out of London and into the countryside. I need a large amount of kit with me so I have to drive. Not everyone can operate without a car.

I agree with the objections. Traffic in Ealing is already overwhelmed

There has been no consultation. It’s making life very difficult to get around parts of Ealing. I’m a cyclist and a car driver and the major roads are choking now. Not everyone can cycle everywhere.

Queues in South Ealing seem much worst now. Journey time and consequently CO emissions are worst. The low traffic area should be implemented AFTER traffic improvements on impacted routes and queue simulation.
