LTN  Restrictions for hanwell Were removed on May 2021 and in September 2021   Ealing council  Reinstalled restrictions for Montague road access to uxbridge  road  Without proper consultation and notices to the neighborhood and road users.

 It can be seen clearly on the picture above time of the alleged Contravention that signage was not adequate.

 This has caused immense confusion  to the car drivers.  And having to take a detour It has had a detrimental effect on the   environment.

 Local residents voted and won  by a very small margin to keep the restrictions. 

 The signage is very vague and  It's difficult to see.  With it being on an S turn you are suddenly confronted With the signs but They are posted too high for the driver to see. So easy to catch drivers like this.

 This route Is a shortcut that takes drivers from Boston manor road to uxbridge road and Greenford Avenue.  There is a 20 mile per hour restriction and there are several  bumps on the road which reduce the speed.  To avoid it you have to do a detour towards ealing hospital  doing a right turn at the  viaduct Continuing for half a mile To reach your destination at Greenford Avenue. This route is heavily congested and heavy with traffic most times of the day.

 Consulting with locals On next door we had  135 Comments in  In just 2 hours and it's ongoing. There is a suspicion By many drivers That this is another  money making Scheme.
