Allow rider to 25 yrs to compete in all levels at Australian Youth Dressage Champs
0 have signed. Let’s get to 1,000!
Riders in the age bracket 21 - 25 are the riders who have stuck with the equestrian community through the commitments of School, university and finding their first jobs; many of them are trying to forge their way into careers in the Dressage world. However, not all of them currently have a horse competing at small tour level, and those riders are currently excluded by the rules for the Australian Youth Dressage Championships.
These riders are part of the future of the sport, and the Youth Championships gives them a chance to shine out. Many other National Federations have recognised this, with the age limit being 25 in both New Zealand and Great Britain.
If you are in the age range of 21 to 25, if you are under 21 but are looking to your future in a few years time, or if you have fond memories of competing at the youth championships, please sign this petition.
