- Here listed are three changes which MUST be made to BF 2042 they are not optional and changeable features but should be considered basic core infrastructure of the franchise we all know and love. To remove these is either blatant laziness on the part of EA or a clear decision to insult and abandon any long term fans in the attempt to reach for a more generic audience in a misguided cash grab.
1. BRING BACK THE SCORE BOARD.
The score board is a base necessity of any multiplayer game and this obvious pandering to a non existent group of more sensitive new players to the franchise is an insult to long term fans.
2. BRING BACK BF4 SERVER/SQUAD MECHANICS
This new system completely disables anyone with more than 3 friends to play together. And completely cripples anyone who would like to enjoy large scale cooperative play with friends which is supposed to be what BF is about. Instead you have given us a bad but large Call Of Duty experience.
3. VOICE CHAT
This needs no subtext.
These failures on EA's accord keep communities and friendships from forming, any cooperation from happening and most sadly of all the slow and steady watering down of the BF franchise all together.
