Trying to bring the Classes and Factions back to Battlefield. We all know why the specialist were created and it’s sad to see a beloved franchise be built for money before it’s fans. Specialist and the open class system has thrown Battlefield all out of wack from balance to teamplay. We all know there’s tons of issues with Battlefield and specialist adds a huge problem to the bones of the game. People play Battlefield for a unique experience you can’t get anywhere else, all that is thrown out the window with specialist. Everybody pretty much runs with the best meta and that not what Battlefield is about. Battlefield is about teamplay, playing a role, being a small part of a bigger whole. MTX could still be in the game with class systems like BFV or BF4. No-Pat lore was created just for specialist, just to sell skins. No-Pats can still be a thing with classes! No-Pats picked a side(or is being paid) to fight for and that’s their faction. At a minimum I believe breaking down specialist into faction and giving us some of the amazing looking AI models as default specialist (we could customize) so both factions have 10 specialist with all traits/abilities made for the game on both side. Lock the weapons and gadgets behind classes with the specialist as a compromise at the bare minimum. Honestly specialist should really only be in Hazard Zone and the class system we all know and love should be brought to All Out Warfare mode. There’s a ton of other things that need to be done to Battlefield like missing features, polish, and some map restructuring among ton of other things. I believe(hopefully others will too) bring back the class system to Battlefield would show some good faith to the community witch is extremely saddened by this direction of Battlefield, the unfinished state of the game, and lack of content/game modes. You talk about making your community happy and listening, this would be it. Maybe this would help, maybe it will, if we show EA/Dice we want to have the Battlefield we come to know and love. We don’t won’t Battlefield to copy other games, we play Battlefield because we love the game and the systems it brings and would rather see Battlefield systems made better not thrown away.
