This year and last year E3SS's after school program and sport teams have been cancelled due to covid. But as of right now we have 0 cases and they are still being postponed while Yellowknife has had covid (0 cases now) and has still continued with there sports programs, school teams, high performance basketball teams and even a basketball league. Why isn't inuvik allowed to have the same opportunity as them it is unfair for the students here especially during the winter when its to cold to go play outside. In the town of inuvik there is almost nothing to do and sports is one of the many things kids love to play and it would be great if they were occupied in the winter doing something productive.
