This petition is addressed to the DWO HOA and is in response to the recent action by the Community Guidelines Committee to include a rule that dogs are not permitted in Lago Loop Park and we respectfully request that they cease any action that prohibits dogs from entering or walking on ANY HOA common area. DWO is known as a dog-friendly community and dogs should not be restricted from HOA common areas. Every member of the community supports all HOA areas financially and the Board is required to make decisions in the best interest of the Community, not in the best interests of a few members, as stated in the Board of Directors own Mission, Vision and Guiding Principles document. The DWO BoD must act within its fiduciary duty for the good of the whole HOA, rather than individuals, with sound judgment and within the law; and must strive at all times to serve the entire community as a whole regardless of personal interests.
