Protect Kempsey from more new builds

In the last 2 years, there have been 3 major residential developments in Kempsey, and 2 more are currently waiting for planning approval.

One of those sites, is along a single lane rural road, with over 100 homes planned.  The site is immediately next door to an established business providing dog boarding and training.

Kempsey is a lovely village, but will soon disappear if the number of new builds is not curbed.  In addition, the proximity of the planned houses to Hillview Dog Kennels will eliminate all privacy for the owners who live there, as well as causing unnecessary distress to the dogs.

Hillview has already had new homes built on 2 sides of their property.  Building on the third will make it impractical to run their business and may result in the business closing down.  All boarding kennels have noise restrictions, which Hillview have maintained, but with family homes bordering all sides, they will find it impossible to maintain their already high standards.  It has taken 20 years of hard work and significant investment to build Hillview into one of the best kennels and dog training centers in the West Midlands.

With approval being given for the 2500 property 'Super Village' in Worcester, there is no practical need for these homes to be built, and concerns have been raised about the village's ability to cope with the extra residents.  Kempsey Surgery has already advised that they have no more capacity!

Please, help me protect Hillview Dog Kennels and Kempsey by signing this petition to stop Malvern Council from approving planning application 16/01396/FUL.
