It's a ridiculous move and it will further reduce Durham University's accessibility for less wealthy applicants Durham desperately needs to balance it's heavily affluent student base.

Was expensive when I was there 2007-2011. Costs now look horrendous, will price out all but the wealthy, such a shame.

I was charged high fees when I studied there which was very difficult for me to afford as an International Student.

Because I have medical access needs requiring an en suite room, and under the increased pricing for 2018/19 I literally will be unable to afford to live in college, something I was very keen to do due to the above mentioned factors. I can barely afford the 17/18 prices, and these large price hikes are just unjustifiable.
