Our family have lived on Copley Lane for approximately eight years. We have become increasingly worried, at times alarmed and angry about the speeds motorists travel along this road. 

The volume of traffic is increasing and something must be done to address this.  We have contacted the council to ask for a speed limit change on Copley Lane. For the council to seriously consider this, we need the voices of every resident who would support a lower speed limit where we live. 

How many of us feel unsafe or worry about walking babies and children in buggies along the road? How many of us have lost pets on this road? (we have lost 2 in the last 3 years) Have any of you ever found it difficult to simply drive your car on and off your driveway?

We belive that a 60 limit on this road doesn't fairly reflect the amount of residential properties in this area. Copley Lane isn't just an access for businesses, this is where we live! 

We feel that every person living on this road and every person who walks it's footpaths deserves a lower speed limit. Our family can't push for change on our own, but with the help of Copley Lane residents we can make the council listen.
