I'm starting this petition as I have patiently waited on my local councillor to do something, he said he would look into it but its been months and I have heard nothing 

In May 2021 my 2-year-old grandson was knocked down on Fleming Gardens North, he flew through the air for 4 car lengths before landing on his back hitting his head on the road, thankfully he only had cuts and bruises but it could have been worse

The paramedics and doctors at A&E told my daughter and her ex that was lucky to survive the accident, my daughter has not had a peaceful night's sleep since as every time she closes her eyes she sees her baby boy flying through the air and the thud of him landing on the road

Fleming Gardens is a sheltered complex area for the elderly and disabled the cars come past at a high rate of speed and the parking is atrocious so much so that to walk from one end of the street to the other I have no choice but to walk on the road as the cars are parked on the pavement, I'm in my 50's and it's terrifying so imagine what an elderly person feels
