Prajna Reddy started this petition to Dublin High School

Dublin High School cannot pride itself on being a diverse school with a large amount of clubs if they put such a small limit on the number we can have. Clubs are, first of all, meant for kids to learn, volunteer, do the activities they enjoy, and most of all, to find like-minded peers and make friends when high school can seem large and intimidating. Putting a limit on clubs is putting a limit on us, and I would like to change that. How are we expected to create new clubs when all the advisors are taken? Does this mean that our school will now only have a certain number of clubs, with no room for anything new, or anything more? I used to be excited for the sheer possibility and number of clubs when I was a 9th grader, but as I went knocking on doors of teachers I didn’t even know today during lunch, I felt none of that excitement, only disappointment after disappointment. It’s not just me who feels this way- a lot of my friends have expressed the same frustrations. Many of us already had clubs we were committed to since 9th or 10th grade, and what are we supposed to do now? Simply drop our club? Leave one or two years of hard work down the drain? I personally feel very let down by school and would like to see some change.
