With recent rain, ground closures, lighting issues, difficulty mowing the lawn and 2 month delay in starting the season it has become imperative that there are sufficient no of synthetic fields across Cumberland Council to ensure kids and adults are enjoying the outdoor sports with minimal delays and angst. It is having a massive impact on number of participants who are chosing other indoor sports or other LGAs who are better resourced. We are the only ground in the council that boasts 4 playing fields,  having dual synthetic fields on both Fields 1 & 2 would also ease the pressure off council and granville football association during the season and will also guarantee we fully utilize the geographical size and position Webbs Avenue is located, onlooking the scenic Botanic Gardens and large car park areas.
