Downtown Dallas, once strictly a commercial district, is now a vibrant neighborhood of 15 thousand residents and rapidly growing. Office space is increasingly being converted into residences. But residents and small business owners face challenges not found in many other neighborhoods in Dallas. We believe this is because of policies and misconceptions that do not yet recognize that we are now, indeed, a neighborhood.
