To whom it may concern:

I do not understand the new rules regarding standby duty. In my view, they have immediate and obvious flaws. Without further explanation or revision, I am clearly unable to provide the necessary coverage as these new changes put me and the clients at risk for supporting systems that I do not have access to or enough in-depth knowledge to support. It also creates a situation where the support I provide will be subpar due to the new limited schedule.

Effective immediately, I request to be removed from participation from standby rotation as it cannot be accomplished in a professional manner.
