No school during the fires in LVUSD

Over the past few days, fires have been breaking out all over the Los Angeles area. It does not seem safe to be having kids in school, especially so close to the fire. Calabasas students are about 20 miles away from Bel Air fire, and many students live or go to school near the Thousand Oaks fires, and also not to mention how a bunch of students are currently getting evacuated from their homes, but still have to show up to school the next day. It is not safe or reasonable to expect parents to want to send their children to a school that is so close to fire and even some of the schools have chances of being evacuated. Please sign this petition if you believe that LVUSD should shut down their schools for the remainder of the fires in this general area. This petition is nothing against the LVUSD district or its employees, it is just the decisions being made by the district that worry others and create an unsafe environment for learning or being in
