Ed Goewey currently has charges brought against him by the Diocese of Joliet for an incident on December 3rd of 2021. Ed, in the interest of the students and faculty of St. Mary Mokena, was using his expertise and training to investigate a potential threat at the school. Ed is a Will County Sheriff, SWAT team member, and trained on active shooters. In doing his due diligence the school looked at him as a threat even though they looked to him whenever necessary safety concerns arose. Please help the cause and support our friend to get these charges dropped on April 11th.
