The Administration at Durant Road Middle School made a rule that requires parents to attend basketball games with their child. This is unfair to the students of Durant Road Middle School for the following reasons:

• Transportation issues
• Working hours of parents
• The student may live too far from the school causing them to miss the game
• COVID-19 may be an issue for parents attending the game
• and more.

We ask that administration at DRMS please reconsider this rule and allow students to go to the games with friends by offering a behavior contract that needs to be signed by students before entering the game.
