I am writing to explain the problems occurring with DVSA and problems within the driving instructor community. It has become overly difficult to find driving test dates and on top of this certain driving instructors are selling test dates illegitimately. The prices of these tests are extremely high, starting from £200 and upwards. I have experienced this first hand as my daughter has been trying to find driving test dates for the past year and she has been unable to find any dates as driving instructors are buying these tests and then selling them further taking advantage of learners to make a profit for themselves.
