We have dress code and I really don’t understand why. We are at school this is about our education and most people including myself like to be comfortable when learning something. Then there are also people who have low income and if you have a kid(s) and you have to by uniforms and you can’t afford as much maybe 1 polo shirt and a pair of khakis and that’s it then your kid would most likely be in trouble with the school. I know for a fact if you sent your child to school and you couldn’t get the uniform washed or couldn’t get them one your child would get sent home or get in troubled,the only reason I know that is because it happens a lot at my school. The kids get sent home in cold weather regardless of if they have a ride or if they have to walk. Or they make them sit in the office for the rest of the day. We get in trouble for not wanting to be cold. Khakis are thin and we aren’t aloud to wear sweats of any type, jeans of any type, or leggings of any type. What doesn’t really make sense to me is why does it matter what we wear? We’re showing up to school aren’t we? So why is it a problem that we come comfortably? At the school I’m in the employees gossip about the other employees and also the students which doesn’t make sense. They are so worried about us and what we wear they don’t check their employees but put it off. We’ll wear the colors you don’t have to worry about that just let us be comfortable. Another thing, the teachers wear whatever they want, and most of them wear skin tight stuff and they say we the children are the ones distracting people . Are you sure? Or do you just want control over what we wear?
